There are a series of best practices, both before and after painting an AR mural, to maximise the chance of success. We recommend the 5C framework created by Zappar, according to which successful AR activation should focus on 5 points:

🤳 Context

Put yourself in the shoes of a user scanning the AR Mural and ask yourself what that moment would be like: is the location of the wall conducive to stopping and using the AR? Is its surroundings safe and conducive to enjoying the AR mural?

🕹️ Control

How well we can control the context: the lighting of the wall, the graphics painted on the wall, the distance of the user from the mural. The more control, the better the end-user experience.
